Report on Ordinance 2 of 1899.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to amend the Law relating to Solicitors,

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions.

Objects and Reasons. The object of section 2 of

this Ordinance is to introduce

into this Colony the provisions of section 18 of the English Act,

33 and 34 Vict. c. 28 which the
